1969

Sally and Bob Dworetsky came in from New York City to stake a claim for themselves and opened the now iconic eatery in West Hartford Center.

1983

Sally and Bob retire after 14 years. Their daughter and son in law Rhonda and Ronnie Zieky took over, they successfully served the people of West Hartford.

2016

When current owners Helen Brower and Cesar Contreras took the reins, both had plenty of experience in the restaurant industry and wanted something for themselves. Every day, they continue the promise of great food and incredible service laid out by Sally, Bob, Rhonda, and Ronni, and the reputation built over the last decades. The community continues to grow up around them, bringing back the next generation of patrons to enjoy this family-focused favorite.

One of the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. Always loved coming here for breakfast in college and just recently returned to see they expanded the menu and the dining area. It only keeps getting better and better at this place!

What a lovely spot. We showed up at 745am with two adults and two 18 month old toddlers. They quickly provided us a table with high chairs and menus.

Excellent, friendly, attentive staff, we were met immediately upon arrival. Every interaction was pleasant and personable, including with the owner! Menu diverse, and the delicious food was delivered very hot. Newly renovated space bright and comfortable.
